Tytell is looking for a Legal Receptionist to join our team.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office.
They will greet visitors, check in clients, answer phone calls, and perform other duties as assigned by the Law Offices of Andrea M.
Tytell Legal Team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous legal experience in a legal office preferred.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to a changing environment.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must be able to get authorized employment in Redondo Beach, CA (if qualified).
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and answer the phone in a prompt, courteous manner; answer other questions as requested by visitors; schedule appointments for clients; assist with client paperwork.
Perform receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, filing/reading correspondence, copying/scanning documents, etc.
, as assigned by the Legal Team Manager or Director of Legal Services.
Maintain an orderly filing system; prepare legal discovery requests; prepare legal memoranda/letters; prepare legal forms/manuscripts; prepare legal research requests; prepare discovery responses for clients; prepare discovery packets for litigation preparation; prepare discovery requests for litigation response; prepare client correspondence for litigation response (client correspondence may include correspondence with attorneys, mediators, etc.
) File documents into appropriate locations within the office systems (e-mail, mailboxes, filing cabinets).
