org Utilize your skills to make a difference in the lives of patients as a Lead Medical Records Clerk with our Venice Family Clinic team.
With guidance and direction from the department supervisor, the Lead Medical Records Clerk will provide a wide range of administrative support including supervision in the medical records office.
In this role, they will:
Supervise the department's daily operation, including monitoring work quality/productivity, training new employees, and develop and implement office procedures that enhance work flow and streamline the medical records process.
File/organize patient charts and other materials, and pull charts for general clinics and specialties.
Process incoming clinic mail and maintain files.
Maintain active medical records file by routinely checking for misfiles auditing and purging records, logging information for transfer to inactive filing system.
Stock office and order supplies, and perform other duties as assigned.
